At Nepenthe Recording Studios, we offer a personal and dedicated Recording Service to Musicians and Artists within our studio in Kings Cliffe, near Peterborough, as well as on location for schools, colleges and other venues.

Audio Recording is the primary focus of our services. This includes recording for:

  • Solo artists
  • Bands or groups
  • Choirs
  • Voice-overs for advertisement or promotions
  • Voice only or mixed CDs
  • DVD
  • Audio books
  • Websites

Associated services include professional photography and video recording.  Please contact us for details.

Welcoming new and upcoming bands*, but all musicians and music styles are catered for at NRS.

When not otherwise in use for recording, our live room can be booked for Rehearsals and we often take regular bookings for rehearsals.

Your Music is unique. In our studio, we will help you to record it the way you want it to be. Run by musicians for musicians, NRS have an intuitive understanding of music and will help you to make to most of your recording experience.

 

Equipment for hire within the studio includes, amongst other instruments, a full and extensive Premier drum kit, guitars, bass, piano keyboard, MIDI/analogue synthesizer, as well as a set of decks.

If you are short of a band member, have a word with our producer. We may know a session musician who could stand in for your recording, if Spike is not able to fill in himself after the initial recording.

Multiple order CDs are available for direct sale or web-based marketing, and promotion of your music is available if agreed with our in-house labels, Nepenthe Records or Solo String Records.

Graphics or artwork for your CD and inlays is also available on request.

* RISING STAR *

NRS offer the Rising Star Contract to bands who are new to recording, to give you a helping hand on the road to success.

What you get:

  • recording between 3 and 5 tracks, at the producer’s discretion, over a period of 2 full days and those tracks will be fully edited and mastered;
  • tracks provided as mp3, for website download;
  • 25 copies of your CD;
  • a photoshoot of the band;
  • graphics for your CD and/or website
  • All inclusive, at £356, representing a discount of over 25% on cost price.
